Matratzen Concord Launches Octasleep SMART Plus Following Consumer Trends in Germany

With over 480 stores nationwide, the biggest German bedding specialist Matratzen Concord is now rebounding from the long closure period with an ever-increasing amount of retail traffic across their stores. Inspired by this influx of high consumer demand and comfort preference trends, Matratzen Concorde will now be introducing the Octasleep® SMART Plus model alongside the existing Octasleep® SMART mattress in their collection, offering the German market personalized comfort for two, in one mattress design.

Traditionally the German market has followed the trend of purchasing two single sized mattresses for a king size bedframe enabling partners to choose their comfort level for their specific needs without having to compromise on their sleeping preferences.

With this in mind, Mediashop Business development team has developed new Octasleep SMART Plus model at the same retail price as the normal SMART mattress. Designed to have the same height as an Octasleep SMART mattress, the SMART Plus enables two completely different comfort feels, while the height of the mattress remains the same ensuring a consistent surface across the entire bed.

This exciting new mattress model launch will be tied together with in-store merchandising updates, staff training and a roll out of TV campaigns in early January 2022 to enhance consumer awareness of Matratzen Concorde and their new personalized comfort offering.
